We at CDFW think it is a great time to purchase your 2017 sport fishing license. Purchasing your license now will allow you to take advantage of a full year of the unmatched fishing opportunities the Golden State has to offer. With more than 30,000 miles of rivers and streams, 4,172 lakes and reservoirs and 80 major rivers, freshwater fishing opportunities abound in California. The state also features more than 1,100 miles of coastline that is home to hundreds of native fish and shellfish species.

A sport fishing license is also a great gift as you can purchase a voucher to give to a friend or family member.

Certificate of Appreciation, presented to CIFFI/Project Eagle Lake Trout by Stafford Lehr, California Dept. of Fish & Wildlife Deputy Director, on behalf of Chuck Bonham, Director CDFW.  Was followed up by message from Mr. Lehr at the Annual Traditional Independence Day Celebration, July 2, 2016.  The 400 attendees as the event were appreciative of the comments and welcome the continued support from CDFW. A huge thank you to all who attended, donated prizes, and worked at our 25th Annual Fundraising dinner. President Garry Erck executed a very well planned and organized event once again.

Saturday, July 2, 2016 – Spalding Tract, Eagle Lake…another well-attended event!  The CIFFI/Project Eagle Lake Trout Annual Traditional Independence Day Celebration at Arnold’s RV Park & Store drew close to 400 attendees, including 85 kids, ages 3-12, who participated in their own free kids raffle!  The weather was perfect, the hotdogs/hamburgers were great...

DATE CHANGE...  IT WILL NOW TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY, NOV. 6TH.  ALL ELSE BELOW WILL BE THE SAME.

It’s that time of the year... the weather has cooled down and we are into a fall weather pattern so it’s time to get the fish pens at Lake Berryessa ready for our annual fish delivery in January. If you are available to help prep the fish pens on Monday, October 30th, your help would be greatly appreciated. We will meet at Markley Cove Store at 9 AM.

If you have someone who would like to help out please feel free to bring them along. We also need a couple of high pressure power washers and someone who can pick up several items that are in storage i.e. generator, water pumps, water hoses, extension cords, etc. (Location of stored items to be determined)

If you are available to help us out for the day make sure you bring rain gear, wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Plan on finishing around 1:30 and then have lunch in Winters.

Please let Stan Wong know if you can help at 925-818-9332.
