CDFW hatchery trucks are continuing to roll
CDFW scientists are working hard to maintain and restore fisheries around the state, including endangered coho salmon along the coast. CDFW's hatchery staff works year-round to help ensure healthy fisheries and ample fishing opportunities for California anglers. Our hatchery trucks continue to roll and stock fish. February is a great time to target urban, suburban and low-elevation waters for trout and bass. In an effort to boost the population of spawning coho salmon in Marin County's Redwood Creek, CDFW biologists and the National Park Service released nearly 200 adult coho salmon in the creek at Muir Beach. More Info
