Bringing the Paiute Cutthroat Trout Home
CDFW, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Forest Service have returned a rare trout species to its home water after a 71-year absence. The Paiute Cutthroat Trout was one of the first species in the nation listed as endangered under the federal Endangered Species Act in 1967.
